  • Wow, thanks for that...I hadn't seen the article before. I've just used the uswitch website and based on their questionnaire it says I could save £120 over the year!
    Will consider that seriously! Might keep a little log this week of all water usage - just to check my estimates are correct. :j

    You can ask the bank to reduce your overdraft by the amount youre paying off.
    If you transfer the money in so it clears on payday and you get the limit reduced at the start of the month it wont be there to dip into.

    You only need to suck it up for a couple of months. Use your diet as an excuse not to eat out, maybe join your friends for drinks before/after the meal and stick to cheap diet friendly ones. Surely most your friends are similarly feeling the january pinch and will be happy to do something cheaper for a few weeks.
