Final Push - Debt and - lbs = Healthy Me

Like many others, I have made plans to make this year "My Year". I have cleared quite a bit of debt and was feeling quite good about it all. I was resting on my laurels, thinking no hurry to clear the last bit, easy to manage until its paid off. Then..........at the age of 62 DH loses his job (4 months ago). So I need to get this last bit of debt cleared. Also need to shift my lbs debt too.
Although DH is looking for work, we are under no illusions at the age of 63 (he just had a birthday) that he will probably never work again.
So like many others this is going to be my daily motivation to, -debt and - lbs to arrive at a Healthy Mind and body.
He has worked all his life, never been out of work. He has been told he can have 6 month Job Seekers Allowance, then that's it.

The other thing that holds me back is PROCRASTINATION. I put things off right till the last minute, it causes me untold problems.
The plans I have made so far is
A menu for all next week, well Monday to Friday, Saturday we don't eat a lot and Sunday we go to my Mams for lunch.
I am looking to feed DH and myself on £5 per day ? I think thats doable.
Try and get ahead with Birthday Presents, bu present as I see them and not run around grabbing stuff the day before. I have downloaded a free present app for my phone, so that I can list as I buy. Christmas gone I had double up on two lots of presents !
Like many others I have started saving £2 for Christmas 2012 ( and will keep a running total in my sig)
For the LBS debt, I like to do WW but don't want to pay £20. So I have downloaded a app for £2.99 and bought a disc for £2.99, these are both fab. So thats that sorted.
Today I am going to sort my 8 bank accounts, rename them and start putting bits in them. 5 of them just have enough in to keep them open.
I am also go to do the MSE budget today and see exactly where I am.
Have a good day all

You have certainly stopped procrastinating and it looks like you are on a mission!0 -
Hiya s4mmy, thank you for reading and posting and very well done on your weight loss :j:j:j.
I forgot to say, I used to smoke 20 cigs a day but a very long time ago, I cut back to as and when. I now smoke about 10 a week but they are going a journey too. I enjoy a odd ciggy but never crave for one ( wish i could say the same for food). Even smoking as few as I do costs me £15 a month, that really is a waste. That along with my LURRRRved latte's that I am cutting back on too, is a saving of £40 a month :j. That is my gym membership paid for.

Good Mornings work, sorted three bags. 1 for charity shop. 1 for eBay and 1 for bin. Top of my landing nice and tidy.
Other jobs for today. Shopping list for this weeks menu.
I also mess around at making Jewelery and I am quite a good knitting and sewing, made a few gifts and sold a bit on eBay. No more buying bead stuff, wool ot patterns( yet another weakness) until I have a £25 credit in my craft fund. It stand at £5 at the moment £26 listed on eBay at the moment.
I also have a half made patchwork quilt in the loft, must get it out, even I think its gorgeous.

Another day, back to work tonight, I work night shift.
I am going to have a plan of action for work tonight to keep me away from the food. I usually have quiet nights at work, so time to make plans.
Looking at cheap healthy meal options. I think is possible to feed us both on £5 day ? DH has decided to watch his weight too, so thats a good thing, I can cut further back on the biscuits etc.
I did not do my menu shopping yesterday. So all I need to buy is peas and veg to go with the fisherman's pie for dinner tonight. today I am going to bake biscuits, as I have all ingredients in. Just need to ww point them.
Update
Food Shopping done £4.16p, so under budget and tomorrow sorted too. NS day tomorrow and £5 saved on tomorrow's food
Update 14.25pm
Been to the gym. This and my sky subscription are the two things I have hung onto. They are our only source of entertainment. But if they have to go at anytime, then so be it.
It is a total of £1.85 a day for each of us for both things. We do not drink, smoke or go out at all. I feel I can cut down in a lot of other area's before these have to go.
I am looking in the a new phone and broadband deal. As I pay £45 a month to bt and £43 or my sky a total of £88 month !!!

Good Morning to all that read my rambling.
Just in off night shift. Not at all hungry, so not having breakfast/tea. I know I should maybe eat something, but I am trying to move away from eating when not hungry. Maybe be hungry on my return from my Aerobics class and swim.
Thought I would get a NS day today, but I need to buy potatoes and quorn. Thats it out of my £5 food allowance for the day.

Received £135 into bank today, its DH job seekers allowance. He gets that once a fortnight.
So plan is £20 petrol, £40 Pocket money for husband, 20 for this week and 20 for next. That might sound excessive, given out circumstances. But DH buys everything he needs out of that, including clothes. He has said, that if things get really tight he will do without, which is fair I think. In the past I have wasted, 100 times more than that.
The remaining £75 is the feed us for two weeks. That is going to be my challenge for the next two weeks. If I can do this. It means I will not have to take any money from my wages for DH, food and petrol. That is until the end of March when DH money stops.
I am going to update my sig on he 1st of everymonth
