Debtbuster Loans via Quids In UK=free £300?

Hi, I've been all around the boards and couldn't decide where to post this. Sorry if it's in the wrong place.

I recently joined Quids In Uk to earn a few pennies by doing daily clicks. One of the offers on the site is from Debtbuster Loans who offer secured loans. The 'freebie' part of this posting is that apparently, if you click through to Debtbuster Loans via the Quids In site and then respond to a telephone call from Debtbuster who in turn will send you details of an offer of a loan - even if you don't take up the offer you will get £300 popped into your Quids In account.. all for showing a sincere interest in the first place. Loans are secured on your home which isn't something I'd like to encourage.

This way of making a 'quick' £300 sounds too good to be true! What do others think? Obviously, if you don't take up the offer of a loan the whole exercise has only cost you about 30 mins of your time.

I'm desparately saving pennies to get to Oz to visit my son - should I try it the Debtbuster way?
I don't drink, don't smoke, don't go out - why aren't I rich?
Don't worry, I'm working on it! :p

  • I would stay well clear of that.

Debtbuster pay financial introducers £1000 or thereabouts for every valid customer they introduce. This means a customer that has an interest in taking out the Debtbuster secured loan product.

It's a poor show from Quids In UK and it wont be long before Debtbuster ceases working with them once a few people try this. You'll notice most financial companies will not work with these types of sites due to people trying this.

It's essentially fraud so i wouldn't recomend it.

Thanks! My phrase "too good to be true" stands then?! I often visit MSE and because I couldn't find any reference to this 'amazing' way to make free money, I must admit I was dubious.

I am a strong person and would never have been talked into taking out a loan secured on my home, but it worries me that others might have approached this special offer but then found themselves sweet talked into taking out a loan they didn't really need.

    Hmm.

  • Yeah if somethings too good to be true it always annoyingly is!

These type of sites work by the inital data submitted to debtbuster being 'pinged' back to quids-in-uk so that they know who to credit the £300 too.

This also means that debtbuster will know when they ring you up that you are a member of quids-in-uk....to cut a long story short....the money will almost definitly never reach you.

I dont use cashback sites personally but i can see how they can be a nice little earner if you do quite a lot of shopping online!

We do not promote fraud and take exceptional measures to actively dissuade and prevent fraud of any description in the interests of protecting ourselves and our advertisers.
We are proud of the foundations we built early on that make fraud through Quids in UK exceptionally difficult yet the detection of it very simple. Our system is shored up with the agency's and debtbuster Loans' (or any other retailer's) fraud detection and prevention system.
Many financial institutions allow us to promote them in this way. Infact, many are falling over each other to have us promote their services. From secured and unsecured loans through to every type of insurance, we are contacted directly many times a week regarding new promotions. I would not be suprised if the loans company you work for do not promote themselves through us, or have not contacted us regarding promotion.

The offer on Quids In UK described by Lou3000 is aimed at people who are genuinely interested in enquiring about a secured loan. We are paid a reasonable commission for advertising DebtBuster loans, as are any website who advertise them. Our advertisement complies completely with Debtbuster loans terms and conditions and the Financial Services Authority (FSA) guidelines.
We share the commission with the member, so it's a win win situation. Debtbuster get their genuine lead, we get a commission, the member gets a large share (£350) for choosing Debtbuster loans over any other similar company we advertise.

I wouldn't advise lou3000 to take part in this offer unless she was genuinely interested in receiving a quote for a secured loan. This is by no means a "quick" £350. every loan application you make is registered against your credit score, too many applications without taking out a quoted offer may result in a credit score penalty.

Debtbuster loans themselves validate leads once per month for the month previous. You would need to go almost as far as signing the papers before this commission is paid to us and shared with you, although actually taking out the loan is NOT what we get paid for. We get the commission once Debtbuster are satisfied that you are a homeowner, that you are in a position to take out a very large loan, secured on your home, to cover previous debts AND that you are genuinely interested in taking their service. They then send out a complete "pack" comprising of the personalised quote and all legal documents. You will be contacted again to verify that you have received this (this is when a lead is validated) and contacted regularly until you have sent back the signed form.
These type of sites work by the inital data submitted to debtbuster being 'pinged' back to quids-in-uk so that they know who to credit the £300 too.
There is no 'ping' back. Logs are made by the agency that deal with debtbuster loans and Quids In UK when the member clicks through to the advertiser. This is where all connections to Quids in UK are kept. What debtbuster sees is a huge list of leads coming in from the agency, they validate these manually on a per lead basis.
This also means that debtbuster will know when they ring you up that you are a member of quids-in-uk....to cut a long story short....the money will almost definitly never reach you.
We have had many people who are genuinely interested in a secured loan have their applications validated from January. We will be paid our commission next month, and so they will be paid their share once we are paid.
We have had a similar number of leads this month, we have no reason to beleive that these too will not be validated.
As long as any member that applies for a secured loan through Quids In UK is a homeowner, is genuinely interested in a secured loan from debtbuster loans and complies with all the conditions set by debtbuster loans....to cut a long story short...the money will DEFINATELY reach you.

    .

That's the bit my husband was worried about! 'Contacted regularly' ...'until you have sent back the signed form'

    Hmm

But apart from that, many thanks for your concise verification.

Might I just add that my reservation about this offer wasn't with QuidsIn themselves, but rather I needed to ask what other wise MSE users thought of the offer.
