Free Thorntons Chocolate Survey 2012

Options
Hi there everyone! I would just like to say that the NEW Thorntons Chocolate survey has just came through my door. Does anyone still remember last years survey? BBC Watchdog pointed out that last years survey wanted to know everything in your property and YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS! This years survey is online...but, you need to put your door number down and a special 6-Digit code on the paper back. The van will then take this for a box of chocolates. This six digit code I think is the access code for the online survey. If you ask me I would not do it. Have you done it? I would love to know! If you have what did the survey consist of questions wise?

Thanks,
Lewis

I done it a few months back, none of the questions were compulsory, I didn't answer quite a lot of them and still got my chocolates. Cant really remember that much but I'm sure it asked quite a bit about my interests and did I want to receive info on them, I just ticked no :) I didn't answer anything financial or things that made me uneasy.

I did the survey last night, and got my chocs this morning :)

Survey was asking lots of personal details, and if i would consent to be contacted, i only filled in what i wanted and said no to all requests, so i shouldnt get any junk mail/calls. If i do, they will get my standard - mail straight in the recycling and any calls i tell them im not interested and phone goes down, i dont give them chance to argue with me.

  • I did the survey and got the chocolates- little pack probably worth £1.50 @ Wh Smiths.
The survey asks many questions covering many areas. It is clear that this information will be used to bombard you with marketing contacts. I lied about pretty much everything-some of the questions were very nosey. The survey is online and you must provide certain information such as telephone numbers. I just put a random number ;)

    Hmm, not working for me...
  • I did it. Put it outside and no chocolates were ever left.Waste of time for me.
  • I had a paper bag come through the door about the survey, logged on an filled (some) of it in. Taped the bag to my front door with the code on but never recieved any chocolates :( I thought it was too good to be true!

Probably a good thing though, they wouldn't have helped my diet! :j
  • Hi everyone, thank you for the feedback on this. I'm still not going to do it as they came round and delivered the chocolates today. :rotfl:
