Probably, but £62 for a Kingsize bed is still a bargain0 -
We bought the single pink bed just under two weeks ago alongside a Sealey simply mattress. We can totally recommend both items. The bed is actually a very nice quality, quick and easy to assemble and with quality curved wooden slats which have loads of spring in them. It was pretty perfect for DDs first bed at that price, but it's very pink so if thinking about buying either the pink or the blue just don't expect subtle pastel shades. I did figure that as it's metal, if she declares hatred of pink in the future I can slap some metal paint over it so that's a big plus imho!
I'd probably say £115 would be the original worth of the bedframe due to the quality, it's very sturdy and as I mentioned the slats are excellently made.
The mattress was £160 but it's back at £398 now or I'd be recommending it.
Now... the service we got was amazing. I'd read some scathing things about Sainsburys in the past and had never ordered from them so I wasn't expecting anything special. But we were informed throughout about when to expect the items, we got emails from Sainsburys and from Sealeys themselves, we were telephoned by Sainsburys with delivery dates (am/pm) for the bed, and the mattress, and by the driver on the day with a time. Could not fault a single aspect of their service. Pretty brilliant. If you want to buy a bed with minimal fuss and total reliability for delivery, I'd hope you'd get as good a service as we got from Mr S.0 -

thinking of buying this for my son's first bed.He will be 2. But it says on the website suitable for children aged 4 years and over. Just wondering if rellarips would know why since they have bought it. Many thanks :-)0

probably because they are high off the floor and a 2yr could fall out. But thats easily solved by using a bed guard!!0 -

Yes, it is quite high, and I can't see any other reason so I'd go with your thinking. It's no different to any other bed you eventually end up placing the toddler into really, they're all high to a little rugrat!
The Bed Bumper at Amazon has rave reviews, we've just ordered one instead of a rail, it seemed to have a few benefits over a metal guard. Idk what it's like yet though, will report back.0 -
Thanks for your help. Will look into it :-)0
