Uncle Bens rice at ASDA 500g £1 1Kg £3.50 ???

This sort of thing really bugs the crap out of me, was doing my weekly shop in Asda and went to buy the larger box of rice and then spotted the 500g box at a pound so bought two of them instead at £2 but if I bought the 1Kg box it would have cost me £1.50 more. I hate this sort of trickery in the supermarkets.
