Cheapest laser printer?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a CHEAP(!) laser printer to use at home - it doesn't need to be particularly quick or fancy but I need it to be smallish and cheap on replacement cartridges. I have looked at a couple of sites but can't help but think there must be someone on here that knows of somewhere cheaper!

Thanks in advance

  • I got a Samsung one (ML-1510) a year or so ago for £50 from comet/currys and it is brilliant

MAKE SURE YOU GET ONE THAT THE TONER CAN BE RE-FILLED!!! I made sure i got one that the toner could be refilled, as replacement cartridges are £40 odd, so nearly as much as the printer itself! I bought 3 bottles of toner on ebay for £10 and so far have only used 2/3 of a bottle!

Before purchasing, look on a site like https://www.refilltoner.com to see which makes/models can be easily refilled

The Samsung ML-1610 can easily be refilled, I've just done so for the second time, works wonders!

Thanks, I've been thinking about getting one too, looks like the Samsung is the one to go for.
