HELP! Getting scared...

I'm begininng to get rather anxious about a loan i applied for. Heres the details.
After deciding i was now to old to keep driving an old banger everyday i began searching for a loan to buy a new (by 'new' i actually mean 'second hand') car.
After reading through acres of articles on this website and using the searches on https://www.moneysuermarket.com as advised by this site, i found that ucc loans would give me the best rate on my money (small amount to borrow, small payback time, bad credit score etc).
I went to the site and filled in what seemed like every detail about my self except my hair colour and blood type. When i finished i clicked the submit button. A page came up saying roughly 'thank you for your application your request is being evaluated' or something like that.
Anyway that was over two weeks ago. I have never recieved a letter/phone call/email or anything saying have been accepted/declined or even confimation of application.
Is this normal procedure? how long do these things take?
I'm starting to worry that all my personal details have fallen into the wrong hands.
I've been to their website https://www.uccplc.co.uk many times but their is no contact information. I don't know what to do
