Secondly, you can apply for credit whilst BR, it's just that if it's over £500 you need to tell the lender.
I have just read my file and it says that my bru end date is 01 march 2013.2015 wins: Wasps vs Harlequins Rugby Tickets, Walk Among The Tombstone DVD, Hobgoblin 'Wych Brew are You' t-shirt, Leicester Tigers vs Gloucester Rugby tickets, Vodafone London Fashion Weekend Silver Tickets0 -
So basically your restrictions are the same as if you were undischarged - no credit of more than £500 without telling the lender.

Yes, Can someone tell me how to build good credit after ive been bankrupt?2015 wins: Wasps vs Harlequins Rugby Tickets, Walk Among The Tombstone DVD, Hobgoblin 'Wych Brew are You' t-shirt, Leicester Tigers vs Gloucester Rugby tickets, Vodafone London Fashion Weekend Silver Tickets0 -
First of all clean up your credit file so that your defaults are showing as settled / partially settled and the dates fall within your BR. Get small amounts of credit, use it regularly and pay it off in full each month. Eg catalogue accounts with small credit limits, a high interest credit card is probably all you'll get til BR falls off your credit file.
Do a search here, there are tonnes of threads about rebuilding your credit fileFeb 2024:
