    The op in this thread also looks to be on a slippery slope down to the smelly financial quagmire, multiple credit card debts, loans and now an expensive operation.

    I though we got operations on the NHS?

    You state you can't increase payments on your credit card, but then attend you have plenty of spare cash available each month to pay for an extra loan.

    If you have extra money start snowballing your most expensive debt and throw all your "spare" cash at this. You'll find within a short space of time the debt reducing and then you can save the money yourself without worrying about all the wasted money on interest.
