Holiday pay while off sick?

Can i still claim overtime accrued before I went off sick and untaken holiday leave although im still off Ill? Thanks

    Accrued overtime from before you were ill must be paid.

    You continue to accrue holiday (at least at the statutory rate of 28 days per year) whilst you are off sick but, like most other holiday, the firm can dictate when you can and cannot take it.

    What you can't do is lose holiday as a result of being sick. If you cannot take it for this reason you have to be allowed to carry it over even if you wouldn't otherwise be allowed to.

    If you are not getting company sick pay the firm may well let you treat some of the time as holiday so that you get your full pay. However, they don't have to.
