    Greek style soft cheese (1.5kg) - £5.69

has anybody tried this???? can it be frozen??
I'm assuming its the same as mozzarella, could anybody please confirm this...
as i got 6 packs of mozzarella on my shopping list for MR T's .. But this look like a great deal, but only if i can freeze it?!

also my leaflet for this week ( offers start today ) is different...

hopefully they have some meat left by tonight!... as i cant get down until OH finished work.

I've never bought this, but wondered if it would be more like feta cheese than mozzarella? I know some of the supermarkets sell what they call "Greek style salad cheese" which is quite feta like. Hopefully someone who knows better than me will come along and answer your question properly :D

I was not wanting the chicken offer this weekend but others were, Saturdays supply was gone in less than 2 hours and Sundays was gone in less than 15 minutes.

  • the deals seems to be getting snapped up earlier and earlier in my store.... anyone else finding this?

I got to Lidl at 10.30 on Sat morning to find all the deals had gone.... was going to ask if they had some through the back but was unsure if they only put a set amount out on a Sat and on a Sun of these deals...., anyone know?

it depends what it is, the meat deals (chicken, meatballs) get allocated on both the saturday and sunday, whereas things like dishwasher tabs, lucozade will be sent in on the saturday only.

always worth asking if there is some out the back though as more often than not we get way too much in and cant fit it all on the shelves!
