Can't speak about HSBC but If I'm honest then the bank I work for offers different deals (better in most cases) for Internet banking than face to face.0

Recently Internet banking offered a Platinum card with no Balance transfer fee - in branch 2.5% fee and personal loans tend to be cheaper by an average of 1% if your credit score is amongst the elite.0 -
there's no difference, you'll obviously get the money quicker if you do it in the branch0

Preferential rates are available online as long as you log in to internet banking and check options for you.
It can also be quicker. If it's accepted straight away you can tick a box and draw the loan down immediately saving a trip into branch to sign the agreement.0
