The website where every pair of shoes were £39.95 is closing down to focus on the US market, so they are now having a 50% off sale on all their shoes. They've got some lovely stuff and also do half sizes :money::D

A bit confused about having to purchase 'credits' to buy items, but by the looks of it, you can just check out with a credit/debit card. Be warned though, if you want to send anything back for a refund, their returns policy is a load of tosh. "Items returned for a full refund must be returned within 7 days of delivery, and will be subject to a £2.95 return postage fee." Under Distance Selling Regulations, neither of these terms are enforcable. I wouldn't want to be the one to fight that though, so I won't be buying.0

I've never bought credits to buy shoes, just used my debit card when I got to the checkout and found that to be fine. The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Sorry to disagree, but you are wrong. Here is an excerpt from the Distance Selling Regulations applicable to direct selling in the UK.
Returning goods
Only if it is covered in the contract and the written information
can you require the consumer to pay for the cost of returning
the ordered goods. Its written on their home page at the bottom
If the consumer then fails to return the goods, or sends them at your expense, you can charge them the direct cost to you of the return, even if you have already refunded the consumer’s money.
You are not allowed to make any further charges, such as a restocking charge or an administration charge.
If you do not include these details in the required written
information then you cannot charge anything. You can never
require consumers to pay the cost of returning substitute
goods. If the goods are faulty or do not comply with the
contract, you will have to pay for their return whatever the
circumstances.0 -

Woo! Payday today! New boots :j Couldn't resist at £9.99. I bought the Prestons. I won't be drawn into the shoe shops at lunch time now, so it probably is money saved...
Hope I can walk in them.Saving for deposit: Finished! :j
