NHS Pension

Hi,
I worked for the NHS up to six years ago and I will soon be joining the organisation again.
I will be resurrecting my NHS pension. I was wondering if it is possible to invest a lump sum in it to cover the last six years.
If it is possible do people think it would be a wise investment?
Thanks

Whether it's worth it depends very much on your age.0
