Ni Hao,
If you missed the CD offered in the Sathurday edition of the Times, you can get the lessons online. Better, extra lessons (not on the CD) will be posted during the week. You can find them at:
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/asia/china
You can download mp3s there (introduction up to lesson 5 at the time of this writing), or suscribe to the iTunes podcast if you are lazy. Make sure you also download the accompanying booklet in pdf. And you also get a free phrasebook from Chambers if you buy the Monday edition in a WHSmith store.
Get one of those cheap mp3 players, and commuting will become much more entertaining!

You have to click the "subscribe" buttons for the video and/or audio podcasts, which will subscribe you in your iTunes software which you also need to have.
This is excellent!! Glad I didn't buy the Times on Saturday for the CD.0 -

if you register at https://www.chinesepod.com they give you a free trial. There's plenty of mp3 files to download as well as the PDF's if you wish to learn the written language. I've found the lessons excellent and highly recommend. What's it going to be, eh?0
