How much did we pay off in 2011?

  • I paid off £16,500 and cleared my debts. This was helped by my office being relocated and us being given a relocation amount for 12 months. i car shared as much as I could and used my relocation cash and every spare penny to throw at my debt, as I knew when that money ended I couldn't afford to pay my debts and have enough cash to cover my travel to work (around £500-£600 per month).

So the running total is £237,657.80

    Well done everyone.
  • Managed to payoff £4000 6 months more and I should be free of the credit cards.

y debts at the beginning of 2011 were

    15,000 - mortgage
    12,000 - 0% Credit card

I finished 2011 with 5,000 owing on my mortgage and 8,000 owing to my CC. So 14,000 paid off.

I will be mortgage free this year, but I think another 0% cc will be required as the current 0% deal expires in April.
    Mortgage free
    Vocational freedom has arrived
  • Only during the last quater of 2011 .. (when I took my head out of the sand)

approx £1613.50 (all payday loan dues...)
at least I'll never go there again

my c.c probably aren't worth mentioning but their next to deal with !
