Would some kind person answer the following 2 questions please.

As someone who is resident in the UK but not domiciled, and who will leave for good one day........ in my final tax year in this country, what is the maximum number of days I can be resident and reclaim all tax paid in that final year?

Secondly, with reference to the above, as I often over-night in Europe while working, can I disregard any day that I'm not in the UK at midnight, or has Gordon Brown changed this recently?

Assuming you qualify for a personal allowance, sufficient days until your earnings equal your personal allowance.

Question 2:
If you are not ordinarily resident in the UK then you can get get overseas workday relief for days worked outside the UK. If you are ordinarily resident in the UK then travel overseas has no UK tax implications.
