If she took it out in her name only it will ONLY be her responsibility. However, if you had to sign anything to do with the loan things are very different.
My husband is not responsible for credit taken out in my name alone. Nor am I responsible for his. Only jointly agreed loans do we both have a liability for should the regular payer default.Truth always poses doubts & questions.
