Peb - regarding choosing a water meter over bills. I don't think landlords have a say on this as all water companies are gradually insisting on water meters being fitted anyway. So if Molly felt a meter would lessen the cost she should theoretically be able to arrange this with the water company. I think most water companies now have a 'check your usage' calculator to see if having a meter fitted would save money.When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

Not sure if its already been mentioned but I believe you may be entitled to some holiday & emergency allowances also, I know we were, I see they say zero on your SOA.
I know its really tricky getting your SOA right especially with differing opinions so I wish you all the best. You will feel tons better once its over and done with. xxx0
