equifax- waste of time

thought i would try the cashback thing in martin's last newletter (£12 cashback when you get 30 day free trial with equifax)

complete waste of time. spent ages online filling out information just to be told i had to ring equifax to complete my 'purchase'. did so just to be subjected to lots of other questions and was requested to send documents in! needless to say, i didnt get the cashback.

are you not on the electoral roll where you say you live? this would mean they cant verify you so at least explain your experience.
Just to say that I did it myself a few years ago and it wasn't any hassle.

Hmm fairly annoying....i tried this yesterday too, turned out i had an old account from years back ( i forgot i registered) so not sure if i got the cashback? Does it normally have a screen saying you have earned it? Cos i didn't :L New to cashback sites too tho....
