google earth gives a birds eye view of your street , well the software you download does anywayJames thinks worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it doesn't get you anywhere

I used multi map to locate a lot of shops and it really does help

Try http://maps.google.co.uk - it's got a really neat option to view your location using either satellite imagery, traditional map style, or a combination of the two. It also does quite accurate directions too!
