Tesco have 1000 clubcard points when you join the diet, I may just do it and a few pounds lost is a bonus, had an email today but it's on their homepage.

Just about to sign up as I need a Tesco Points boost and I couldn't see the offer anywhere on the home page.

i think its gone to 500 points. if you follow the link and start the sign up process it comes up a few pages in. (before you complete sign up, so you can see it before you buy).
so thats £20 in days out/deals, £20 cashback and 10 weeks free diet help! Cant be bad for such a small outlay.
also, i have lost over a stone in 5 weeks . I normally have no willpower but I love the tracker on there, so helpful! :j0 -
Can anyone following the tesco diet please give me a quick overview of what the diet entails? E.g. is it calorie counting, does it involve cutting out certain food groups, etc etc. Would like a rough idea of what I'm about to sign up to! :-DIt is only a bargain if you need it!0

Well I find it helpful because they give you 3 (i think) choices. Either very healthy, normal or "ready meals" for people on the go. they then see what kind of food you like (So you can cut out shellfish or whatever) and tailor it to suit you. They give you a calorie intake target for each day and you can go on and type in what you have eaten for the day and how many drinks, and they add the calories up for you. So its like a diary. Its really helpful in that way. I find some days I go over and, im honest and put "bar of chocolate" in, so the next day I try to hit less calories than my allowance, so my weekly score tally's up right. So I guess, in answer to your question, its calorie counting based. But they give you diet plans - tailored to suit you - and follow your progress. Also, when you update your weight each week, you get feedback. and there is a real person 24/7 ready to chat to you. they are very friendly and down to earth and chat about your week as well as food wise. one of the ladies gave me good diet tips that she uses. i like it as it gives support and motivation, while allowing me to track my progress myself and not stand in a meeting with other people (my idea of hell). hope this helps0
