Mary berry cake mix ingredients

I have just made one of the Mary Berry cake mixes and it didn't turn out well.I have another one which I don't want to use now because of this does anyone know of another way I can use the ingredients which are 210g dark brown sugar,40g chopped almonds,833g soaked fruit.Thanks in advance

As for the other ingredients, if they are still sealed they'll keep. I would hold onto them / use it to make flapjacks / throw them into the next plain cake mixture you make (use less sugar though).Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I'm a great fan of Mary Berry and find her recipes clear and easy to follow. But did find that I have an over zealous fan assisted oven and had to take that into account when baking her recipes as my first attempt at her carrot cake was very dried out and chocolate brownies were over done.
As above is there nothing you can salvage from the bake?Jan - May Grocery spends = £432.47

Same with ours... it's great if your just shoving a Pizza in there but if your actually trying to cook it's a nightmare:o0
