Hi, I have submitted my first SA return online on 16/12. When I log in through HMRC website and and select Tax Return options it shows date return submitted and option to view or amend the return. When I click on "At a glance" and under File a return for 2010-11 it states:-
HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) is currently unable to display your tax return information. This may be because:
Any idea why its showing that when I have already submitted the return. Also any idea when SA statements are issued?
Thanks

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) is currently unable to display your tax return information. This may be because:
- there is no information to view at this time
- you have only just activated this service and there is a short delay before the information is available to view.
Any idea why its showing that when I have already submitted the return. Also any idea when SA statements are issued?
Thanks
MS

The HMRC site is pretty poorly designed. it is common for first-time users not to realise there are several buttons "Confirm" or "Submit" in a row before the damn thing is actually submitted. This is at least the second thread on this subject this week. I make a point of telling clients who do their own PAYE, VAT or SA to get a PDF of the final confirmed returns. Either these have the date and time stamps on them or they don't - if it doesn't then it has not gone into the database.Hideous Muddles from Right Charlies0
