wonder if someone can help me pls
was made redundant last June , managed to find a job which started end of October - However this job was advertised on a perm basis but when i got there and started , boss gave me a letter stating it would be on a three month trial leading to perm - well u can guess whats happened - those 3 months are now up and boss said sorry but as of end of Jan there's not enough work.
So im gonna be back out looking for work again :-(

But what i wanted to know how should I put this newest job on my updated CV
as a perm job or should I say it was temp 3 month contract ?

any advice pls

  • I'm finding because of the competative job market at the moment prospective employers are checking previous jobs quite comprehensively. I would say it is probably best to put a temp 3 month contract, otherwise you will have to put redundancy as reason for leaving - which may not tally up with what the employer says if contacted :-)
  • Agree with scoobs078. What I would do is

    Job Title (Temporary)

yeah, put it down as a temp contract.
  • I agree, it was certainly temporary if it only lasted 3 months (ok, it was offered as permanent at first, but it didn't turn out that way, so just call it temporary).
