EX Mothercare M&S & TU Clothing factory ??

Hi was wandering if anyone can help me, I have recently been going to car boot sales in the wolverhampton, cannock areas and have come accross 3 or 4 stalls selling mothercare, m&s, and sainsburys tu baby clothing at £2 for each item the stock is all brand new some are slight seconds, on some labels instead of the store label it has a label saying carters sample garments but i know the stuff is mothercare, m&s etc as i have seen them in the shops, others have the original labels, due to the amount of people selling the stuff on the car boot sales there must be a factory somewhere local selling this stock, I do not want to sell on I want for my own children before anyone worries about giving me the info, Hope someone can help as I have searched the internet and cant find anything !!!

I've no problem personally if you want to sell on anything you buy.

For Mothercare try searching the following:

http://shopping-mall.co.uk/index.php?b=1211&loc=oc (there's a Select your Outlet Centre option to the right, it'll bring up some stores. Just click on them)

Nearest M&S outlet to you is Walsall Outlet Junction 10 Retail Park, Walsall, West Midlands, WS2 0LE

And maybe Astle Park Outlet Unit 4 Astle Retail Park, West Bromwich, B70 8NS

http://www.marksandspencer.com/gp/store-locator (will show if there's an outlet store near you)

Don't know of any TU outlet/factory stores though there may be decent bagains to be had at the moment.
• To the left of shopping-mall.co.uk there's also an A-Z of towns and cities which might be worth checking.

Try checking Walsall again as well as there appears to be an Outlet store for Mothercare and Adam's Kids. And possibly: Lichfield, Stafford, West Bromwich, Sutton Coldfield and anywhere esle you can think of.
• Could be somewhere like this
http://www.cataloguebargains.co.uk/index.php?/clearance.html

There are quite a few, just search for wholesale clothing.

• Thanks I think they are more from a wholesaler rather than an outlet store, the impression i get is that you would buy a lot and have different items in the lot, if anyone else knows please let me know thanks, i will check that catalouge link now though thanks :j

I never think Liquidators or bulk buys when I see carbooters like these.....I always think ramraiders or backhanders to factory staff!

Have you tried contacting the brand owners websites? They can usually advise you on the best ways to get their products from distributors, etc.

The car boot sale people are most likely dealing with liquidators rather than wholesalers. Liquidators often have great brand-name products that they can sell to you really cheap.

The downside of using liquidation suppliers is that you usually have to buy in bulk i.e. $1000 or more per order and on top of that, liquidators are a bit of a gamble: You could buy $1000 worth of stock and only be able to sell $500 of it because the other half is not great quality or is outdated/soiled stock.

It's best to deal with trusted liquidators at all times. SaleHoo is a great resource for liquidators. Through them, I found Titan liquidators - a good supplier for branded items. You could try them out but I'm not sure if they stock baby gear. Good luck!

This is Spam.

Salehoo is a work from home scam which will initially cost £56. In addition when I tested out the buying procedure using made up details, the payment page was with Clickbank. Clickbank is an affiliate marketing scheme, popular in America, which involves spamming websites in return for small fees.

The mothercare stuff could be from somewhere like this on ebay

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/NurserySavings

They seem to sell at lot of ex mothercare stuff. If you see in the categories down the left there is a "job lot" option. I have seen in the past job lots of clothing however they do not seem to appear very often.

Not sure about the m&s and tu stuff
