I understand the way agencies work, thanks for all that analogies (the farm/Sainsbury’s post was rather amusing).
Your opening post suggested you didn't understand at all, since you said: "Surely any rate increase should be passed on to me or at least split 90/10% I’m absolutely livid!" That's not how agencies work, hence all the explanations. People were only trying to help - so no need to be rude.

Please see my earlier post, i've agreed a new rate with a new agency which means more beans in my pocket :T :T:T
Old agency has lost its trust with my employers and wont be used again, they sacrificed a short term gain of a few pound an hour compared with numerous extra contracts in the years ahead, Idiots. And they have to pay back the money they wrongly took!
