Iv handed my notice and confused on what iv been paid.

Hey there hoping someone on here can help or tell me where to go to seek help.
basically iv handed my 2 weeks notice in on 13th january,
and my employer has chosen to let me go on that day,
they've paid me for the week 9th-13th and they paid me for the week cpmmencing 16th (this week) plus 7 days holiday
surely if i was willing to work the full two weeks notice i should be getting paid for the week commencing the 16th and the 23rd plus the 7 days holidays, it was them who got rid of me on that day it wasnt my choice.

Thank you in advance.

When does you holiday year start? If it's January, then could the 7 days holiday actually be your notice period?

As employers are permitted to tell you when to take your holiday I believe they are within their rights to tell you the week of the 23rd is holiday. Unless anything in your contract says differently. Our staff policies say the company will only pay for untaken holiday when we leave by special prior arrangement and we are expected to take the days off.

    Sorry.
