Lots of bargains at The Works

We went in today and found the following bargains:

Mr Men activity books at 59 pence each

Disney Princess 3D book and activity books for 99 pence each

Delicious cookery books (the mini ones) at 59 pence each (we got the 1 pot book)

Mini disney books (Snow white, Monsters Inc etc) for 59 pence each

Petter Rabbit activity/sticker book 59 pence each

Wagamama cookbook £1.99

Lots of other bargains around.

Plus the sales shelves are 4-4-3 so cheapest item free (yes even on the 59 pence books if they have the sticker on/or are n the right shelf).

Hope this helps someone. These activity books/sticker books/disney books would make great gifts for children's party bags.

I went to the Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent branch however according to staff the sale is nationwide.

HTH someone.

  • Quite a lot of the items in the Manchester Arndale store are buy one get one free including books (didn't have time to look through sorry!) cards 10p (they're quite nice actually) and one of the other things I noticed were Manchester United 2012 desk calendar. I also bought a chalkboard mug 99p on the offer.
They're on two tables at the entrance of the shop. Can't miss them. I don't know if it's nationwide though.

Yes, in my local I had a few bargains. I got some 2012 annuals including angelina ballerina, peppa pig and rachel hale (puppies/kittens etc) for 99p and they were on offer 4 for 3.

They also had simpsons, humf, in the night garden, take that, rhianna and other older 'teen' type annuals too for 99p and 4 for 3.

Also a few younger children type annuals in the Poundland shop.
