I bought this for OH for Christmas, and the cheapest I could find after several weeks of looking was £120. The internet radio is great and he's really pleased with it. Amazon reviews criticize interface, but he's had no problems with it at all. Wish I'd seen it at this price

I got several dab radios including a M&S dab radio with internet, cheap Morrions dab radio for garage and Pure dab radio/alarm clock for bedroom you can tell difference in sound quality with pure radio. All are fairly good but pure definitely has better sound
I rarely use FM now.0 -
FM is better than DAB. But DAB has Gold in Stereo that is normally am elsewhere. Five Live & Talk Sport also clearer than their AM counterpart.I got several dab radios including a M&S dab radio with internet, cheap Morrions dab radio for garage and Pure dab radio/alarm clock for bedroom you can tell difference in sound quality with pure radio. Having said that I have had several Pure DAB products & all have gone wrong. I have had a Sony Dab for a few years with no problems, I have just bought a Roberts DAB/FM & it's the best sound I have heard on a DAB radio so far, it also records onto an SD card from DAB (MP2) & FM (in WAV).Nice to save.0 -
I dont agree FM is better maybe it is where you are. I get good reception in my area and also this is a much wider choice, where I am there is less choice on FM apart from national stations and two poxy local stations that are garbage. Dab when it works sounds better to me, but with dab either it works or it dont FM you can slightly be off frequency and still get it. Dab is more critical and uses more power.FM is better than DAB. I agree that it depends where you live. I get an excellent DAB signal here, but FM is poor. I've taken my radio when I've travelled about UK, and DAB signal is appalling in several areas. This radio was bought for internet, and it's been excellent even though I wasn't sure the wifi would be good enough to have in some parts of the house. So far there's been no signal drop, and podcasts and listen again progs are more accessible on a radio, apart from all the different international stations you can listen to.0

I meant sound quality. I agree there is a better selection of stations on DAB.
