Default date

Hi,

My sister has finally got a grip with all of her finances as is slowly seeing a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.

Query is this, she had a default 24/5/06 and has been paying the debt back in small amounts each month since, she now only owes around £90 and is hoping to pay this within the next couple of months, how does it affect the default if she clears it before the debt drops off (6 years)....can anyone help, does the 6 years start again if she repays in full or will it still drop off on the 24th May this year whether she's paid it or not?

Thank you in advance :)
