FGA Capital default
We wrote to FGA April last year to ask them to accept smaller pro-rata payments as we had a tax credit overpayment and couldn't afford the repayments. They declined this request. We wrote to all of our other creditors at the same time asking for the same - they all agreed. We asked FGA to reconsider, they declined.
So we continued to pay FGA at their standard rate which we managed until Dec when we missed a payment, now FGA have issued a default notice.
Will it be passed to a debt collection agency and if so are we right in thinking they have to accept pro-rata payments. Any advice would be really appreciated.
