  • I dont think there is such a thing as a cheap tiler...'cause you might not get the job done right.

If you want a tiler who is trustworthy, reliable, does a great job, with a not-over-the-top price try a chap called Colin...his business is Courtney Tiling and he is in Portglenone, County Antrim.

I have had him tile my kitchen, bathroom and hallway when we moved into our house. Always hard getting a trades person who is good but COlin does a fine job. I got my tiles from a tile shop in Randalstown (forgot name).

Yes that is was my thoughts when I read the OP. You generally pay for what you get.

PS that should be get what you pay for!

No such thing as a cheap tiler, it is a skill, same as a plasterer or electrician. And neither should there be.

If you want a well finished job, pay the going rate, the only thing you may save on is finding a tiler who has experience and is not VAT registered, saving 20%.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
  • Ask in your local tile shop. They will be able to recommend a tiler. They will know the good and the bad ones!!

    Try Phil Hart on 028 9091 5789

He is a friend of mine. I recommended him to a local builder recently and he said he was the best he had used. He was very pleased with his work.
