Definitely going forward to be DF by Xmas 2012

Hi everyone,
I think its a wonderful idea to come up with this idea to be DF by Xmas 2012 and big yow to mf0u1098 for coming up with the idea and would love to join. Hope you will have me.
I am a little ashamed and should know better being over 50 years of age, but human after all. Anyhow my total debt is £9,400.67. Is it practical to say it would be paid in 12 months? I don't honestly know but I am going to give it a darn good try. My weakness is credit cards and the my first port of call is to cut them all up (about 7). Try to find 0% interest free balance transfer. Unfortunately, I am retired so paying off a mortgage and these debt is now becoming a challenge and a must.
I read all the ideas regarding earning extra money and taking them all on board because I am willing to do whatever I can to reduce this debt. I have decide I will do car boot sales, make items to sell i.e, soft furnishings, make to orders and go from there. I have tried ebay, but it end up costing me rather than the other way round. Clear out my kitchen cupboards and use what I have already before buying new stuff, cut down on shopping items more what I need, and walk where I can to save petrol. I am not sure how much per month I am going to pay but I am going at this 100%.
Your encouragement is gratefully appreciated keep up the good work. I must confess whether its age or what but I do not know how to or able to use a spreadsheet.
