I think it varies but my local CU has an eight week wait before you can take out a loan.
One word of warning though....my CU stipulates that the first loan can only be for twice your savings so in your case you would need to save £250 in eight weeks.

There is no credit union near me
well there are but they are for council employees, I only want to borrow £120 to start my court proceedings with HSBC and can pay it back once this over, will I have to go to provident??? :mad: I'll get you debts and your little dog too!!! :mad:And best of luck to all the other debt busters out there!!:beer:0 -

Oh I no that feeling, I have 7 creditors I want to start court proceedings with, Since August last year I've only managed to get money gather up for one:o0 -
