I know..I may just start getting the 8 year old to do her own!:rotfl: she's the worst...every day her school dinner or some kind of arts and crafts activity seems to have exploded over her school sweatshirt..and she only has 2.. .the idea was as a cost reduction exercise..as she seems to also lose them regularly...if only she did that only when they were dirty maybe thatd solve the washing problem :rotfl:

  • Evening people... sorry for such a late check in.

dnms - hope that you've enjoyed your first day of unemployment :D
Another far too busy day at work today, I can feel the migraine starting to niggle at the back of my head so I'm determined that I need to get an early night and a good sleep tonight.

I've had an ok ish day mse wise though.
    Checked bank account
All meals from stores and lunches prepped for rest of week
Little bit of flylady work when I got home
Have applied to mark exam papers (extra cash, but lots of extra time required)
My mobile contract is up for renewal next month so looking for nice cheap deals that suit my usage (don't want to go to payg as it's one of the few credit options I have at the moment)
My wedding invitations have arrived so I've spent a good half hour looking at them and getting all excited
Two loads of washing done and on airer to dry
Also had a moment on way to work this morning, convinced I'd left the heating on in the kitchen. Admittedly more concerned re fire than money saving but phoned my sister who came round and checked everything was switched off.
Changed gas and electricity supplier before Christmas - final electric bill came in showing £150 credit, but waiting for gas bill before I chase refund.

Anyway, I'm waffling - night all. I'm going to try and sleep the migraine off.
