This Weekend: Best Deals on LCD/Plasma TVs -- Please post

Hey everyone,

In the market to buy an LCD/Plasma TV this weekend. Moved into a new place sans TV, so its time to take the plunge on an LCD/Plasma.

Can someone suggest any good deals currently on 40" LCD or Plasmas?

Many thanks!

How about this Teco TL4081RT HD Ready 40-inch LCD TV, £815.45 delivered.

I have the 32" version of the Teco and it is superbha4469.jpg

Thanks Barney ... does anyone have any 'brand name' suggestions like Sony, Panasonic, Samsung etc.

I think we can probably do better than the price on the Teco? Cant we?

    Have a look here: http://www.electrical-deals.co.uk/ServiceCareSite/pages/home/default.asp

They are refurbished units, but the shop is apparently the official Philips Refurb Centre so they come with 12 mths warranty.
    42" for £654.99 can't be too bad!!

  • Towner .. fantastic!

Now, which one do I want? Can someone suggest which 42" model I should get?

Also, a logistical question, what happens if I'm not in when the delivery is made?

Does anyone have a promo code for them? I found one but it is not working.

    Thanks!

  • Further to my earlier post for promo codes ... if you register as a customer (with email address) but back out/do not complete purchase it looks like they send you a promo code!

I didn't order, and they sent me a promocode for free delivery. Now there's an incentive not to order if ever there was one.

£15 off ie. free delivery of TVs. Nice.
  • Sorry r2d2c3p0, did you get your lcd or not??
I actually called Electrical deals and spoke to a SA who seemed quite good and explained all the process's of how they received the TV's and what to do if I was not entirely happy with the set etc etc. All seemed good, but the real test is when they have your money!!! I was going to order the 32" 5531 at £399, but they went out of stock!! Still looking...................
