Other than checking prices online at places like mySupermarket, etc, does anyone have a method or online calculator for working out e.g. £2.18 = 10.9p/100g? I've tried searching Google but can't find anything.

I would have thought you had to work things out individually as ecah pack/product will be different sizes?0

Yes, exactly. And that's why I'm asking. If someone posts an offer from another store with a different size jar, box, or whatever, sometimes it's not always easy to work this out, if it's actually cheaper that is.0

I found this one which is based on US dollars, but it matters not really as you just enter the UK £ equivalent and it spits out the right results I.e.$1 will calculate same figures as £1 try it and see. You can download it to your iPhone too if you have one calcnexus.com http://calcnexus.com/grocery-calculator.php0

Yeah, that was one of the ones I checked out earlier. It doesn't exactly explain what you're supposed to enter into in the boxes either. Plus, it's in ounces, pounds and gallons. Would be easier if it were in grams, kilos, etc, as it would save me from having to work that out as well.0

I think if you select units then work out yourself the amount I.e.1kg is 10 units if you are calculating the unit price per 100g. Otherwise you just have to calculate yourself I.e. item cost in pence ÷ total item weight in grams x unit requirement (I.e. x 100 if you need to know price per 100g). So an item costs £2 and weighs 1kg would be 200 ÷ 1000 x 100 = 20 pence per 100g. That's the only way to do manually.0
