Hi guys.
I had a mortgage in principle from the YBS at the end of last year. It included £500 cashback, £95 fees and was 2.69% (offset BoE tracker). Now I'm in a position to buy and take a mortgage for real they've scrapped that and it's zero cashback, £295 fees and 2.89%
I know the mortgage setup costs are a small part of a much bigger £picture but I still feel pretty bummed by the sudden initial extra hit of £700 + a slightly higher monthly payment.
I'm thinking a regular lifetime tracker with HSBC, at about 2.5% and zero fees could be a goer, but would really like the offset facility.
Anyone found any mortgage gems recently? Could do to sort it out quick!
Cheers

Mortgage rates are edging upwards. That's a fact. The longer you leave it the higher they'll rise.0
