- Put £1 aside every day.
- Put all change (coppers and 5p's mostly) into a big tin/jar.
- Cut down your heating bill by wrapping up warm instead. Or go to bed an hour earlier = 1 hour less heating needed.
- Energy saving lightbulbs.
- Use internet less = less electricity.
- Read books instead of watching TV = less electricity.
Just a few basic ideas.0 -
Turn lights off when not in the room
Close curtains and blinds as soon as it gets dark to preserve heat
Do all your errands in one go to save fuel wastage on shorter trips
Use draught excluders - home made ones are fun to do, can be personalised and save pennies!
Don't leave electricals on standby - a virgin media box uses 70% of power when its not being used
Re use as much as possible - packaging, carrier bags, teabags (joke!)

Grow your own salad, fruit and vegetables?
I tried this last year, my tomatoes and peppers still weren't ripe when it starting snowing!!! Do herbs and that at the moment. Will try it again thanks. Only have a balcony so a little limited. I should do a little more research on this before trying again this year thanks xDebt Remaing £315 :jBreath out the past, Breath in the futureBig Dreams Start Small0 -
