I know I am a bit late as we are part way through January, but we all get vouchers through be it Clubcard vouchers, morrisons miles or boots points, even vouchers from the survey companies.

Some people also buy vouchers each month through Park, Tesco or Asda savings cards etc etc.

just thought it would be interesting to see all the different ways to collect these vouchers so we can all have a virtual spend free December :)

Anyone in on this? I will start, I am hoping to save about £300 in vouchers and points by December. How about everyone else :)

  • I'll join this, my girlfriend and I save our club card vouchers and m&s vouchers for Christmas. Last year we did very well as had an extra £100 of m&s vouchers through joining sky and our life insurance - we used these to buy nice wine for Xmas 2011.

Don't have any vouchers yet for 2012 but should get about £18 of club card vouchers in next statement form tesco.

Hi can you count me in for this. I have planned to save my clubcard points for xmas. I have also started a ASDA savers card. I have signed up for a necter card as I discovered that I get points when I submit a meter reading with British Gas.
Will update my totals when I check them.

  • I have done this for the past 2 years now. I save all the vouchers I get from doing surveys throughout the year and it really cuts down the spending at Christmas. Eg my 2 childrens xmas toys came to around £300 but with vouchers I had saved the total cost to me was around £75. Count me in again !!

    Hello

Count me in. Are we counting amounts already in our balance or just points earned from this year? I've never heard of Morrison Miles - I don't shop there very often, but there's one not too far away that I pop in occasionally, so I will check it out.

All I do is build up my nectar points and cash in at xmas I got £60 last December and I have more this year as I mainly now shop at Sainsburys. I also build up my cashback from topcashback and get the cashback as amazon points plus 5% extra on top. I got around £150 last year and I only started building it in in August

So I have around £200 for xmas it didnt cover xmas but took the sting off

Any spare cash I have I bung it into my isa. I am hoping to build up as much as I can to pay mortgage off in a few years 5-6 at most. I dont have a huge mortgage thank God now although I have hit hard time mortgage has always been paid
