custard

is there anything i can do with custard other than put it on something or trifle? just wondering if any of you wise people had a idea of something it could go into. got a cheap tub of posh stuff from waitrose and it needs using. thanks

    didnt happen to buy a whoopsied pastry shell too? perhaps you could make one? then pour the custard in, grate some chocolate on top or decorate with strawberries? chill for an hour or so - and you have a lovely custard tart for dessert!
  • Add geletine (excuse my spelling?) and make custard jelly :)
    It's good as a desert as it is as well, but cold custard jelly with a dollop of hot chocolate sauce is very nice. I add a few drops of vanilla essence to the custard just to 'lift' the flavour.

    Make a bread and butter pudding with it, depending on how thick the custard is you might need to water it down with a bit of milk though.
