Hello, I'm new :) Time to change

Hello Everyone!

I've been looking on the forums for a while now, and I thought it's time I need to join up, especially seeing all the lovely support that is given :)

A bit about me- I'm 26 and a married mum of 3 with my own business. I do have Borderline personality disorder, which can be similar to bipolar in some ways. I have a successful business, but I work if the work comes in, so it's never regular. Seems strange admitting things on here, but it will do me good. I have a gambling addiction, not a huge loss in some ways, but I'm sick and tired of not having money in the bank and breaking even. By now I should have £1000's, which is not the case. I have a very supportive husband, but it's obviously been effecting our relationship, as the trust etc. has been difficult. It seems like I go on binges when I'm low, and I'm currently in a vicious cycle of feeling good, thinking it's Ok to gamble a bit, then not being able to stop.

Now is the time to change. Just by posting on here I feel like I'm doing something positive. Feel free to share your own stories, it feel good finally being able to admit things :) xxx

Hello Erniesmum, just dropping by to wish you good luck. There are lots of people here who can support you, so you have made a very positive step today and come to the right place.

It's good to get things down in black and white for yourself anyway, it makes things much clearer
