shashwoo we bought those ones but didn't end up using them though. Excellent taste. I must find where i put them and put them back on ebay. We only rejected them as we realised we would have to handwrite all the details and it as people from out of area were coming we wanted to be a bit more formal and fit postcodes on etc. Neither of us likes our handwriting lol.

Cheap thing that's nice is a sweetie table. Well can be cheap if you don't get hung up on details to much. We used glass dishes from charity shop and mum and her friends dishes. Filled with old-fashioned sweets and bought some paperbags off ebay very cheap. Only bought sweets on offer or in the 99p store. Apart from my favourites my husband picked up at bookers Floral Gums. I made my own sign i can show you a pic if you like. Didn't' photo table on the day just to much going on. People really liked it and it was nice for those travel to have sweeties for the way home.

    Thanks for your reply :)

We looked at ones that were allready filled in but decided we have to be as cost efficient as possible so these are a great little find.

Good to know they are gonig to look ok, I don't mind the writing I can do them on a night whilst watching TV or something with a glass of Rose wine hahaha.

A sweets table sounds like a good Idea, I've seen others mention it before. If you could link a pickture that would be great :)

I'm feeling ok about it all at the moment like I said my main worry is what to do for a couple of hours during the afternoon, it's either we go to the reception early and there isn't any music or we don't go to the receptino early and have family from out of town come back to ours for a drink and a chat type thing.

Did everything go to plan? I hope nothnig went wrong for your big day.

Could you go straight to the reception and have an ipod playing some background music while people have a drink and a chat?

Here's our sign. I just found a nice font downloaded it to pc. Found a nice pic and just put it all together and just added cheap peal stickers to mrs bunny head. We printed our invites on the pc after a lot of faffing has to be said. But the card we used was massively reduced in a sale. Probably cost us less than a tenner. O pic moved in the frame slightly for pic it was straight for the wedding!

I once went to a wedding where the reception started two hours after the ceremony ended -everyone just sat there-no refreshments no music-nothing. It was very odd. I'd suggest going straight to the reception too-keep it simple.

How are your plans coming on?

I think that as long as people know what's going on, and that they have two hours to relax and catch up with family and friends, then they will be quite happy. The below is definitely not what you want!

I have been to weddings where we just sit around after the photos, waiting for something to happen. Personally I think that the worst part is not being aware of when the reception/meal/anything is due to happen, so no-one's quite sure what to do!

My plans are going very well, thank you; just got the card for my invites, so will get going on that soon.

Why not look at doing an afternoon tea? Sandwiches, cakes and tea/coffee with some cava? Everyone can bring a cake or sandwiches to your venue. It could be very lovely if well organised.

Ok so had a wedding filled day on Friday.

We went to see the wedding venue I have to say I'm not besty pleased :( The room is in a green colour with a few sprigs of flowers dotted about and a bloody fire exit right near where we stand to get married :(

Yes the outside is great for photos but I have to goup a crappy staircase that isn't really very nice and the full place smells like its musty :(

I think it was just a bit of a dissapointment to be honest.

anyhoo after that I took my dress in to be altered, that went ok and is only going to cost £30 so that was loads cheaper than I thought. It should be ready to collect on Wedensday but i'm working so will pick it up on Friday.

I am going to start writing out my invitations tonight and get that out of the way.

    Woo x
