How exactly do you use Quidco?

Sorry to sound dense, but how exactly do you use it?
I've registered with it, but then what? If I wanted to buy something specific from Amazon, for example, and wanted cash back from Quidco, how does that work, can I do that?
Help! (Noddy language please thanks)

Log on to Quidco and search for the website you want to buy from. On the retailer's page on Quidco there will be a link you click to take you through to the retailer's website. You have to use this link to get the cashback! Sometimes there will be voucher codes too. You can also register your debit/credit card on there and get cashback in-store at some shops (Dorothy Perkins do it I think, can't remember where else).Kate.0

log on to your quidco account , click on the link to the retailer , make your purchase in that session so it track
often a good idea to use a different Browser like Google Chrome or Firefox solely for Cashback site purchases
Topcashback often pays a slightly hisher rate than Quidco and no £5 a year membership fee

Thanks folks, so you'd recommend 'Topcashback' rather than Quidco then? Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568

both
they bot h have exclusive offers at times
check which has the highest at the time and go through that
and you dont get anything from quidco or topcashback for buying from amazon
unless you go through nectar points you may get some of them0 -
Thanks whitelabel, I've just found this.
Unfortunately, while amazon offer brilliant value, there is no cashback available from this retailer. Amazon do not allow sites to offer an incentive scheme. As doing so is against their Terms and Conditions we unfortunately cannot currently list them with cashback.
Frankly that's a pain in the bum cos I usually buy dvd/cd presents through AmazonOur LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568

I didn't know about this £5 membership fee. Is that even if you don't get any cashback? I have only just started using quidco but I think I will just pop over to topcashback if quido charge a fee.0

I used Quidco and quite frankly I thought it was great :T
If you are buying things online such as insurance or a phone package they use cookies to track the progress of your order once you click through to the company/retailer from the Quidco page. It's true they do charge £5 a year membership, but if you are planning on buying one big thing and a few smaller things then it's still well worth doing. I got £95 cashback (inc minus the £5 membership) and £60 credit so my first two months of Virgin media TV, phone and internet was completely free! Well worth looking for cashback deals on large purchases or contracts. It took a while to track but 3 months later I was paid by BACS.
Although the £5 isn't as good as other cashback sites - I still feel its a good deal - it's £95 I wouldn't have had otherwise!

they are both good and havent had any probs with them but you just need to bear in mind the £5 fee each year for Quidco, the worst one I have used was Greasy Palm0
