It's still freezing cold in the burgh. You don't have to be cold even if you are on a budget thanks to Primark Edinburgh men's sale 2012. Prices are probably national.
Scarves, hats, thermals & slippers (loads in stock 15-1-12)
Sale prices start from £1 e.g. http://i1223.photobucket.com/albums/dd512/warpcorechicken/Well%20Spotted%20Bargain/mensscarvesandknittedhats1PrimarkEdinburghPrincesStSmall.jpg and range up to about £4

Thanks for this op, got some sets of base layers for me and OH in Leeds (plenty of stock in both ladies and menswear!), all reduced from £8-10 down to £4 :T
(same range as this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MENS-JAPANESE-TECH-THERMO-LAYER-THERMAL-UNDERWEAR-Turtle-Neck-Top-NEW-LARGE-/310372531878?pt=UK_Men_s_Underwear&hash=item4843a4fea6)0 -
It's a bit chilly at the moment, but in the Basingstoke branch they had loads of summer dresses for a pound each. They had the lemon one that was popular last year and the orange one, plus lots of other designs, mostly in sizes 6, 8 and 20. I bought six for our holiday in the summer for my daughters. My younger one is a smallish for her age, 10 year old and the size 6 fitted her perfectly so god knows how they're meant to fit an adult.0
