    You will get the benefits accrued, it will NEVER be worth nothing. Unless the whole coutnry collapses in a zombie appocolypse or something.

    even if it changes in 20 years, all the years you put in will be protected.

    I agree with Mc Neff. You would be mad to come out of the Fire Service Scheme. It's still one of the best.
