PS3 Preorders started in Game!

Hi - just to let you all know that I have just been in to the GAME store in Brighton and pre-ordered a PS3 - you need to pay a £50 deposit which is refundable if you change your mind.

Gamestation are also taking pre-orders,only £20 deposit required.

Gamestation told me earlier they can't fully guarentee all thier preorders though, hence the low deposit, they did it with the 360, took loads of preorders and deposits, couldn't guarentee them all.

the pre-orders started at GAME today, and its estimated they will all be gone by the end of tomorrow.

Yes - this is why I posted this thread in the first place. With the WII pre-orders - I think Game were the most reliable and that is why I have been waiting for them to start taking pre-orders rather than going with someone else.

Argos do playstation pre orders no deposit needed and Play.com do them as well and dont take money out until product is shipped to you

Trouble with the Argos link is that when you click on it - it directs you to a bleedin awful diamante watch type thing !!!!!

Caveat emptor - don't spend £450 on a £20 watch!!!
