2 Identical Letters / Cheques arrived today

I have received 2 idential invoices / cheques for £25 today from the national magazine co. ltd.
They even have the same cheque number.
Do you think one has been sent in error?
Which competition could they be from?

I received a cheque today from the National Magazine Co but I knew it was coming as they had sent me a letter at the beginning of December. Mine was from a Real People comp, underneath where it says invoice on mine it says REALP.....
Check the Real People winners page to see you are also on it, mine was from Issue 45 which may be the same as yours considering we got the cheques on the same day.

Thanks strewth71, I have just checked and it says REALP 1147 TIP so now I realise it must be for a tip I sent them?! I can't find an email that I sent them though!

I think if it was me who got them (I wish), I'd ring, or email them and ask them. Certainly seems odd - especially if they have the same cheque number. Congratulations on your win though.0

It sounds like it, not sure what would happen if you tried to bank them - I would be tempted to try and see what they say. Glad you've managed to clear up where they came from xx0

I've won TWICE from the same issue of a magazine once. Both cheques arrived same day and cleared

No I only sent in one tip... I tried to cash them both today but only one went through so never mind! I am happy with £25! I shall just shred the other one!
